Putting the Breakfast in Burford B&B
To kick off 2020 we have some crazy Bed and Breakfast special offers, both during the week and also at weekends.
We like to own breakfast. Definitely in Burford. In fact, we love it so much we’ve compiled some of our favourite quotes about it.
“My wife and I tried two or three times in the last 40 years to have breakfast together, but it was so disagreeable we had to stop.” (Winston Churchill)
“I grew up running miles of the Norfolk coastline. I’d think nothing of a six-mile run before breakfast. I still run, though not as far and not before muesli.” (James Dyson)
“I love making buckwheat crepes with ham, Parmesan cheese, and a fried egg on top. It’s my go-to breakfast.” (Taylor Swift)
Did you know: we’re currently offering 20% off two-night weekend stays when you book direct with us through this website. We also have an indulgent Prosecco and Fudge offer. Go on, take a look and bag yourself a Bed & Breakfast bargain!
“My daily breakfast is two poached eggs in the morning with half an avocado, and I get to have half a piece of toast.” (Lewis Hamilton)
“Breakfast is my specialty. I admit it’s the easiest meal to cook, but I make everything with a twist, like lemon ricotta pancakes or bacon that’s baked instead of fried.” (Hugh Jackman)
“I do love my full English breakfast, but not every day. What I can’t do without first thing in the morning, though, is my Danish pastry or a croissant – anything with a laminated dough, enriched with butter to make it beautifully golden and flaky.” (Paul Hollywood)
“For me, training is my meditation, my yoga, hiking, biking all rolled into one. Wake up early in the morning, generally around 4 o’clock, and I’ll do my cardio on an empty stomach. Stretch, have a big breakfast, and then I’ll go train.” (Dwayne Johnson)
“I still eat pizzas, I still like pies, I still have spaghetti hoops for breakfast… but it’s in moderation now.” (Shane Warne)
We can cater for all of these celebrity breakfasts, except perhaps for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But only because we’re not usually up quite as early as 04:00.
